Double Sided Penumatic Tip Dresser for Electrode Cap tips

The tip dresser set comprises the tool body, cutter blades and holders.

Description

Description

The tip dresser set comprises the tool body, cutter blades and holders. Standard blades are readily available, while custom cutters can be produced from your drawings. Driven by compressed air, it delivers consistent spot welding quality.
Copper electrode tips gradually deform under prolonged high heat during welding. The tip dresser reconditions electrode profiles to required dimensions, maintaining stable welding performance.

Products Advantages

1.Fully guarantee the grinding quality, and after grinding, the electrode cap is as smooth as new;

2.Long service life, one cutter blade can polish more than 4000 times on the electrodes on average;

3.Fast grinding, it only takes 0.8-1.5 seconds to finish one grinding;

4.The grinding depth is only 0.1-0. 15mm, which greatly extends the service life of the electrode
cap;

5.Pneumatic operation, no need for external power supply;

6.The electrode cap can be grind ed without being removed;

7.Grinding on both sides at the same time to ensure the uniform axial center of electrode surface;

8.The tool holder has double-sided guiding function, no matter the electrode cap is at any Angle (0-30 °), even if the upper and lower angles are not symmetrical;

Operating Manual

1. Make sure the welding power is off;

2.Make sure the cutter blade is suitable for the cap tips.

3.Make sure the installation is correct and the cutter blade will be turned round in clockwise

4.When grinding, the upper and lower electrode pressure must be adjusted to the grinding pressure (generally 0.4 mpa), and never use welding pressure, which will damage the blade.

The Reasons for Poor Grinding Performance

1.There are cooper scraps on the cap tips;

2.Cutter blade is not suitable with cap tips;

3.The grinding time is too short;

4.The setting grinding position is offset (The electrode position deviates greatly from the center of rotation of the tool);

5. Grinding interval time is too long to make the electrode tip deformed;

6.Electrode eccentricity or electrode sloped more then 15 degree.
